thanks gandalf, much appreciated.
It looks good, and you can go even brighter. Pull up the highest highlights to off-white or even white, that will make it pop.
A trick that worked for me - when thinning the light colors, if you can't get it right and they turn chalky, use a medium instead of water
That's me boy!!! Great stuff! This is not a tip for your or about your technique cause you seem to have command of that aspect. What it is is an idea ,to break up the face abut and draw the eye to the face permanently (the focal point of each and every mini) is by making some dark brown and work it into the nose that little bitty nose on all rodents, canines, even larger mammals like bear and equines .a color to you that comes to mind is rhinox hide and or scorched brown, burnt sienna etc. and have that blended into the snout . And also like on my shaven oblong the last bit of snout to add little black dots to simulate whiskers. Now that is what separates well painted and well blended models from unbelievably well painted well blended models. It doesn't need this its just an idea to show viewers that your more conciencous and more astute and attuned to detailing your minis. This is a favorite idea of mine ,simply because ,as painting with a realist style, it appears much more lifelike and not just a well painted model. Great job all in all.
Good start, this is one of the few scaven minis I like as its not to fussy.
Looking nice Coyote, Under Johns command You'll do well
