OK, my army is Wolfen. The very first pic of a rackham mini I saw, a year or so before I could get my hands on any (that must be some 4 years ago), was a wolfen, and I was hooked. I also like the Werewolves from the RPG, like Kittykat23UK, but more from playing Rage, the CCG. I just love the models and the power they exude... I made a voluntary effort and left the Devourers aside, whoever...
Nevertheless, I also have all the Fiannas, the Valkyries, Shanys, two Sereds, and an assortment of other minis I like, just because I like them. And, like Tuubje, I\'ll possibly start getting Daïkinee elves when (if) they are released, because they\'re the only people Wolfen really ally with. Supposed that they look like they do in the Rag·Narok book, of course!
Regarding what\'s played over here: on July 27th I organized a Tournament under the aegis of what could be called a local con. We had RPGs (I played my first live one ever, BTW, enjoyed it immensely), Heroclix, Munchkin, Magic, whatever... and Conf. Many people had promised to attend, but in the end only 5 entered to play; the rest came to take a look. The easiest Rag·Narok set (that was the prize) to be won ever... But I digress. The funny part was all armies were different! My pal Alfredo played Barbarians, plus we had a Griffin army, Mid-Nor, Dirz, and Devourers. To meke the number of players even a stand-in player used my Wolfen, to make it 6 different armies!
Also, last Sunday Al, Fenrir (the guy playing Mid-Nor), his girlfriend (playing Alahan) and me (Wolfen) all took part in a Tournament in Castellón (65 km from Valencia, where we live) organized by the Dirz player above and friends... The funny thing there was that out of 14 players, there were no less than 3 armies each of Barbarians and Wolfen... The rest of the armies were pretty well represented except for Tir-Na-Bor Dwarfs, Orcs and Goblins, but funnily enough, nobody plays Undead, who have always seemed quite powerful to me! Odd...
