Brushes: To Lick or not to Lick?

I used to lick all the time. I\'m much cleaner now. I only lick when I need a really sharp point.

I cringe every time someone even talks about licking a brush. Cleaned after water, okay I can understand. But with paint? Gag me! Reminds me of children who eat paste at school.

I keep water right in front of me and have been able to break the habit. There is some real nasty stuff in some paints.

I clean the brush then lick just to point the brush then load and paint...clean, lick, load paint. That\'s not to say I\'m not getting paint in my system. The water gets pretty nasty sometimes.
