Guys, let's be serious for a second, it's an obvious reference to the fact that I clean my brushes in pairs. ;)

Got a chance to watch the video yesterday. Nice explanation/tutorial of how you achieved that effect on the sword

The Stormcast is 99% done. I will fix some minor issues and details after I have all 3 of them painted.
Now, off to recording the tutorial. It will be a long one ;)

Man, every time I see the title of your thread and open it, then I laugh...there's no way you throw down paint like that, and can call yourself a beginner! lol Stormcaster looks stellar, and the tutorials you're posting are a great asset to the "beginner" crowd. Keep 'em coming!

It was pointed to me that creamy robes are too close in colour to gold NMM and I think I agree. I quickly photoshopped how it would look with white robes, I think it looks better. What do you think?

Well, as you used all the secondary colors (orange/yellow, turquoise and purple) as triad, it is kind of difficult to add any new color to the mini, so you either you use a modified secondary, or black/grey/white. So I say 'go' for the white.

Just a thought here, but you could go for a different shade of the purple that you already use for robes.

the white you could go with a really light grey/almost white and either a dark grey, black or blue glaze to get the shadows. Maybe a blue to match the armor?

Another Stormcast in the works. I started to paint NMM armor and gold + as a bonus I recorded a tutorial about the process.
On Friday I'm leaving for 2 weeks of holidays, so no painting during this time. :)
