Asha from JJ Models

Conversion done for a friend, who wanted it for an old friend of mine, and the story is long and tearful and makes those of us involved feel the world is very small indeed. This is the 10 inch resin kit limited edition "Asha" model from JJ models out of Italy. We did major conversions to recreate the look of a real dancer who would be receiving it for her 50th birthday. It involved filing off major bits to make the whole thing clean and more of a real dancer look, lengthened the hair, took off the garters and added the back panel skirt. Tattoo, skirt details and other identifying marks were done freehand, based on pics of the real thing...all done in secret and all of which came as a total surprise to the birthday girl! Enjoy it! Drink a toast to Mona N'Whal's birthday!

Before voting, take a look at uncompressed photos of this on reapermini.com/forums or hopefully on Paintminion's site soon. The blue is much more vivid in those photos, and the hair a richer, lighter and smoother red. Also Sue doesn't mention it in the write-up here, but elsewhere notes this is all hand brush work, no use of airbrushing. A huge amount of work with a fantastic result!
