Death Shroud (Airbrush Experiment)
This was a paint job that probably took around an hour, and most of that was to do the base. The miniature itself was painted with an airbrush -- primed black, and then I did successively lighter coats of black mixed with a light green-grey. Each coat I took the spray angle closer to straight from above, which ends up mimicing the appearance of being lit from above -- it really brought out the shadows. This was done in early April, 2004. I think it would be an excellent way to paint the wraiths from Lord of the Rings.
