I agree that the colour gradation on these figures is excellent. My suggestion would be to pick out some more details with some brush work to give them more "life". For example you could have shaded between the armour plates or even around the gems to reinforce the light direction you've created with the overall colours. Picking the gems out as Maenas mentioned would also give them greater impact. And you could have decided to mix the colours up by giving their helmets a different base colour which was then glazed with the yellow/orange light.

I like the gradation of the colours, and the "smoothness" you have obtained. I also think that there is more to do defining the different zones of the armour of both models. It also seems strange that all of those gems are "plain" painted if you understand what I mean.
Again great job on that smoothness and gradation.
