It's a very well painted piece, but it doesn't fit the contest in my opinion. The description states "It must be painted in a limited palette such as greyscale, sepiatone, or using selective color (monochrome + strategic accent color), to create a monochrome or duochrome effect." While you've got a lot of blue, there's also golds and browns, reds, green, and steel. The quality of the painting is fantastic and deserves a 9 or 10, but because you've entered it into a monochrome (or duochrome) contest I just can't rate it that highly.
