I painted this in green monochrome. I sculpted the base using a combination of greenstuff and sculpey and attached the etched brass leaves for the willow tree. There are also some paper butterflies scattered around. Enjoy! C&C always welcome!

I think it works if the idea is that elves are the hidden in the woods type of folk. SO the contrast problem has some outs for me, so ya...fine with it.
