Andrea Miniatures metal model, 54 mm scale. Painted with acrylics.
Was inspired by Bertolt Brecht's poem "Der Pauper". Tried illustarete an atmosphere of sadness and despair.
I think some are looking for the normal glazes seen on skin to add nuance and an extra glow or livelihood to the mini. But I think keeping him gray and drab adds to his age and the neutrality works very well here. Because of this risk, I give you a 9.5 by giving a 9 in the comments and a 10 in the voting.
"I can feel the cold breath of the morning winter wind, hard life for most talented artists, with theyr poor cold fingers on instrument as old as them, still giving some kindness to people who nearly care... nothing !" Idrissa-Flo Touré.
I personally think that the colours are to bright and clean, the skin of the musician is too pink or too healthy if you understand what I am trying to say. This is just my impression, I am trying to be respectful with your work and I like what you have done here a lot, in fact I doubt that I could do it like that.
