Necrarch Lichelord
Already made the Strigoi offspring of the five Warhammer vampire bloodlines ( http://www.coolminiornot.com/288113?browseid=2094807 ) and now here's the magic-fuelled Necrarch cousin. I don't know why I always have to try something new (..and hard) when I'm participating competitions and this wasn't exception either: the moonlit metallics on the shoulder pads. But with some trial and error I succeeded. I also don't use bright colors often and instead reserve them for magical things. So as the Necrarchs are so heavily influenced by magic, I wanted to give him glowing red eyes to represent this. I considered purple or blue instead of red to get cold and ghostly feeling but the red was more fitting for a vampire as the color of blood. Plus it pops out quite nicely through the blue hues. If you observe carefully, you can see the cobwebs tangled on his armor.
