A variation on a theme
A thatched version of a building that was inspired by a Dolls house, the original can be seen in my gallery. I distressed the timbers on this one to give it more of an olde worlde type feel. The roof is not as brown as it appears, that is just my cheepo camera! I am undecided as to whether or not I am happy with the results. The building looks heavy...chunky and I dunno :) It does look much better in the flesh though.
