Crystal Forest
These clear resin crystals were sculpted, molded and cast around November 2002, the same time I was making my Gelatinous Cube figure. I finally mounted them on basswood bases and finished them in May 2003. There are eight different bases of varying heights from 50mm to 80mm tall. After a dullcoat on the base, the crystals were painted with a glosscoat which gives it a reflective glassy look.
