Citadel Dwarf with Hammer

This is a mini given to me from friend from his childhood gaming days. I am told this is a Citadel dwarf, but that may not be right. Anyway, the sculpt is crude compared to today's standards, but I think he has lots of character. Hope you like him. Comments always welcomed.

What a characterful little guy! I like your leather textures, and the shield looks great! On this and some of your other pics, it looks like you've maybe got some glare or overexposure. Maybe try photographing against more of a mid-tone background?

I like this first dwarves of Citadel Miniatures. They com from pre slotta time. I'm going to collect a warband for mordheim using just those preslota dwarves. I don't like the metal part on this dwarf. It looks more like a stone than metal. Also You should put some more work when finishing base. Maybe some static grass or snow or a goblin head would bring him to life ;). I know that probably this is a mud base, and it's well done, but the colors of this base and main dwarf colors are just the same and your mini dont stand out well. The second way is to paint dwarf's tunic in stronger colors. It's hard to see those minis well painted in this days. good work.
