Diablo II Skeleton

Another monster from one of the most addictive fantasy computer games of all time. I wanted this guy to look as if he had just popped out of the earth, covered in grime. I like how they sculpted this guy with his head cocked to one side. He must be hearing something with his nonexistent ears. Hope you like him and comments welcomed as always.

Not bad. Overall atmospherical and true to the diablo II feeling. The NMM needs more contrast though, if you'd take the highlights up a notch going from very dark to very bright pretty harshly it will more look like glares from metal, If you need to smooth out the blend you can do an intermediary glaze. The rust on the sword is too evenly distributed, try focusing it where the blade would get the least action so to speak and not as much on the cutting-edge. Overall you can neaten the painting up a bit using more controlled washes and highlights. Nice coloursscheme! Sven

I didn't even know there were Diablo II minis, very cool! I think you've done a great job with this one, he's grotty and grimy and ready to kick some butt. I like how you handled the base, too.

Good job at the old looking bones but the orange background at your photos isn't advantgeous.
