this is my ork warboss, I have finally decided to give him a wash (in this case a devlan mud wash) which I have applied to his armour and weapons to give it a nice brownish rusty and especially a 'used' look all compliments or constructive criticism will be highly appreciated thanks

Be more neat! You need to paint using paint of the correct consistency. This looks like something I did in the 80's with umbrol enamel....... Try highlighting like the other guy said.

Well, the tarnishing looks good, but have you even considered highlight'ing his skin? This seems hardly worth posting pictures of, unless off course it's a WIP...
