Grom the Relentless
First off this miniature represents a lot of firsts for me as far as painting technique go. The first time I attempted to paint human flesh tones, the first time I did extensive blending on armor, and the first time I painted a 3D gem. Over all I spent a total of 8+ hours on this mini, not counting the prep and primer time. I would now like to acknowledge the people and their article's that helped me with this mini. One that I might add I am extremely proud of. DragonPaint and the article "Painting faces from black primer", Jericho and the article "Mastering Hard to Use Colors", BrushGuy and "Painting Gem Stones", and PaintPot and "Painting Skin". I highly recommend these articles to people who wish to improve their skill and broaden their techniques. However I am still working on the photo side of this hobby as most of my miniatures look much better in real life than they do in the photo's I take. I also used the article titled "How to REALLY Take Good Photos" by Pagan. THanks to all the experienced artists for contributing great articles and sharing your knowledge with the rest of us. As always comments and suggestions are always welcome.
