This mini is part of a commission I'm working on. Expect to see more Griffins by me in the near future... ;) I like this sculpt quite a lot. Especailly the face, which has a lot of expression. I did this more or less like the Rackham version of it, with a few minor changes.

The gorgeous blending on the sword is what bumps this up to a 9. Excellent job overall still.

Great face - very good blade of the sword IMHO only the gold NMM parts could have some more contrast-still great job!
