Zsoulless Sculpts

Really coming together with all the doodads you've added. The braids were a cool idea.
Is the sweep of the horns perhaps a bit low? It seems to me as if you've got them oriented toward the pose of the figure rather than the (imaginary) structure of the head. I'm reading him as 'chin up' relative to his resting position.

Thanks Everyone!
The bulk of him is roughed in enough I can actually start detailing now.. I haven't really liked the "sweep" of the horns either and I plan to cut them midway and change them up a bit.
And on another note.. I was going to give him a club or mace in his off hand, but I just saw this shaman's crook I really liked and I think I'm going with that..

Very cool, I'v always loved the sculpting aspect of the miniature world. You're a good sculpture, looking forward to more of your WIP.

Lovely model so far. I agree, I like the staff. It goes well with the braids, makes him seem sort of a shaman type...

I can't seem to wrap my head around detailing this guy.. I even started working on an Orc face in a fit of procrastination..

Man I seriously want a copy of that ork warboss! It looks like the one from the Space Marine video game!

I would love to answer yes to that question But I haven't personally started working on casting yet. I've dabbled.. I have a handful of texture plates, rollers, and simple molds I've created to speed along my sculpting, but that's about it.

& To answer a question I've gotten a lot elsewhere, Hes just over 2 1/8 inches tall or around 54mm from the bottom of his hooves to the highest point on his head.

I really love all these - thanks for sharing. I think GW their almighty selves would find it a great boon to have you among their ranks. I'm tired and my phrasing may not be the best - my way of saying these sculpts are not only amazing but happen to be right up my particular "alley" - or one of my "alleys" - (I understand it's "up my street" in the UK?) Amazing pieces. Do you kind of "storyboard" these guys out ? If you get the chance I'm interested in how much sketching and so forth you do before "freeing the sculpture from the material" as Michelangelo (?) said.

Someone's been busy!
Looking great as ever, Zsoulless. I suppose at some point you'll have to run/design a game using these great characters...
