Doesn\'t reaper sell those \'skulls\' they put in their paint bottles? I\'m sure it\'s not the most cost effective method though.

Myself I don\'t tend to use them, maybe I should though, as my paints sit for years at a time they often need a tooth pick or brush end and some water to bring them back to life.
They sell the heads on the site but they are $4.50 for ten and I need a bunch:~(

This thread has gotten pretty funny. LOL

i use glass beads...usually 3 per bottle does the trick they are about the size of those smileys to the left of the replies box.

Like Lizcam I found hematite stones from local crft and hobby store works great and they are pretty cheap but I am cheaper I just wash them off when the bottle is empty and use again.DD:cool:

I have to agree with Generalpoleaxe on this. Wild Boar is a tasty.

@ Wiccanpony; They had a different excuse in Alabama. No one thought of that excuse in a state that is full of wild life.

Some apartments will not let you have ferrets, or weasels, because they will get into the wall and chew the wiring.

I guess plastic and wiring is more delicious than wild boar.

???to show you how stupid our California government its.. ferrets are illegal to own, because of an ungrounded fear some will escape and start munching on our native wildlife.

Now this was the same stupid fear the State had over hamsters back in the 50’s....until they discovered that the tame hamster can’t survive in the wild, something about our native wildlife finding them mighty tasty.

Nope, just easier to hunt.

And Britain has it\'s crop of imported, now feral, life, Grey (& now Black Squirrels), Coypou, African Honey Bees, Rabbits {Can never remember if it was the Romans or the Normans who brought them} and let\'s not forget the most dangerous species to ever co-opt into and overpopulate an eco-system.......HUMANS

Undave

Flockwit
Let\'s not forget mink, Spanish bluebells, muntjac and sika deer, wallabies, zebra mussels, ruddy ducks, ring-necked parakeets, bullfrogs, Australian flatworms, Oxford Ragwort, floating pennywort, NewZealand pygmyweed and my personal pet hate rhodobloodydendron

Someone did a degree in ecology and conservation

Cheers Reverend:
\"Julie believes they probably died out in the last Ice Age, only to be reintroduced later by the Romans.

The tricky thing about archaeology - as the rabbit saga has shown - is that we can\'t ever really be sure. Each new discovery throws up new questions.\"

Nice to see that theories change with \"evidence\".
I remember (just) how one of my History teachers was adamant that Rabbits were the real cause of \"The Black Death\", but he was a real \'nutter\'. Today he\'d be right at home amongst the Conspiracy Theorists.

\'Peebles\'? Isn\'t that a town in England? You\'d have a job fitting Peebles into your dropper bottle!

Edit - Holy mackerel, it\'s in Scotland! Well, it\'s outside Wales, so the lines tend to blur for me ;)

Here it is on Wiki.

I really like the pebble idea though.

You can put metal into your paints as I have ball bearings in my P3s but you need to get marine grade stainless steel. Works very well too as you dont have to take up loads of room with huge marbles or whatever as the BBs are nice and heavy for size.
