Blood Angels? I know thats true for Blood Ravens, but I\'m not sure about Blood Angels.

*edit* I guess I should answer the question, sorta. I\'m gonna say make sure its a colour scheme you can paint, and wont get sick of. That can be much more important than any other factor. The back story can be important too, having a fluffy army can really improve your desire to get it done, or convert or what not. Any play style can be done with marines... Take a look through the galleries and see what tickles your fancy. Don\'t forget the WIP has some good marine army logs going:

There are others too, and some that just pop up every now and then.

You\'re right I was talking about Blood Ravens. I just mistyped:( Sorry for the confusion. I don\'t like blood angels at all. The whole vampire theme is kinda dumb.

DA & BT have the nicest miniature sets and are ripe for conversion.

SW will rock if GW redo a new mini set to the same quality of the recent DA releases.

Blood Angels will get a preview army list in White Dwarf. No way they\'re getting anything more than that for a while.

BA should be in for a radical change though, by the sound of it. Their basic troopers seem to be taken down a notch (you buy an 11th marine for a squad for DC instead of rolling for it, and noone has free Furious Charge anymore) but their characters sound really cool.

Since Chaos Marines are being redone this September and Orks are the Christmas release, there\'s no way Space Wolves are getting a new book anytime soon.

... Anyway ... there\'s two very important things to consider when choosing Marines.

1) What do you want to paint?
2) How do you want to paint it?

Anything else is academic, really. Do what looks fun, just about any Marine army can be competitive if you throw enough powerfists and assault cannons into the list lol
