When do you paint?

I\'m kind of curious as to when other people here tend to paint? Morning, Afternoon, Evening, after dinner etc?
And how long do you usually spend at these sessions?

Whenever I can.

Seriously though, usually late at night. I start 11 or 12 ish and got till 3 or 4.

Weekend afternoons and nights and some weeknights, if I feel like it. Usually I try to have a decent amount of hours available at a shot, otherwise I\'ll do something else. Like watch anime or play on my PS2.

EDIT - Also forgot, usually I prefer to paint after I\'ve had a meal...otherwise my hands get pretty shakey, my eyes don\'t focus well, etc etc. And I usually also don\'t paint after I take a shower at night, since my hair tends to do strange things if I put them behind my ears while it\'s drying, and the way I paint my hair will get in front of my eyes and probably all over the mini if I don\'t.

I try to paint a little two or three times a week, usually from 20h30, 21h00 to 22h00.
I sometimes also paint during weekend mornings, but with the summer here I would rather go to the beach.

I have discovered that I do my best painting at night. Sometimes I start painting at midnight and go for 3-4 hours. Those sessions are usually very productive! Something that can\'t be said of my efforts at work the next day... :innocent: lol

I do most of my painting between 7pm and 11pm, during weekdays.

I like to paint on the weekends, but with the weather so nice, I feel too guilty being indoors. So, hopefully it rains all weekend (guilt free paint time!!)

Haven\'t done any painting lately, but okay you sorta got it right.
I sometimes paint after breakfast but before I leave for work. I get about 30 minutes and the house is quiet.

Normally I get started about 6pm depending on work or other commitments.

I paint often and each night when the house is quiet. Becca has joined so We start at 9:00pm till 2-3 am painting but even her eventually I send off to rest so I paint for an hour or so in aloofness so that is from 2-3 till 3-4 am . Dogs sleep kids sleep all quiet

When it rains I paint as well for I can not work in the rain, thus I paint as often and as long as the responsibilities allow. Damn I am addicted.

I work midnights, so I usually paint in the mornings, after work, maybe for an hour or two, and in the evenings, on nights when my favourite tv shows aren\'t on.
Weekends, it varies. In the summer, I don\'t get as much painting done.

But, man, is my workspace ever neat, now!
After a week of work, it\'s a presentable thing... at least until I use it again. Then it will be a disaster all over again.

I tend to do most of my painting 12ish (at night) till i get tired... Very productive, not good for the whole being awak at work (so what if i take a nap... they won notice )

I paint after my morning shower and coffee. I stop when I get hungry, have some lunch, then paint untill I get hungry again. That\'s dinner time, and after that, I don\'t pick up a brush.

Weekdays, obviously I paint after work, on and off depending what else I\'m doing that evening. Weekends I dabble all day, again between other things. The problem with painting *before* work is not that I couldn\'t make time, it\'s that I\'d be worried I\'d get on a roll and then have to break it to leave.

I know I should sit myself down for more intense painting sessions but I try to limit the number of projects I\'m working on now, so I do need drying times, also I seem to have no ability to just sit down and paint for hours straight.

I\'m more of a morning person, i find the lights good and im more willing to paint when its a pleasently warm morning and the house is quiet. Failing that, i might shove in an hour or so in the early evening.

Whenever I have time. I work 12 hour night shifts, attend school full time, am married, have 3 sons, own a home that constantly needs attention and a yard that currently looks like Jurassic Park because of the Cindy/Dennis rains with no chance to mow. When I do have time it is generally after the anklebiters go to sleep. Sometimes I go till the wee hours before going to sleep.
I LIKE COFFEE, but it makes me a litllul ssshakyy wenn taipng.
