:idea:This is my first post but I\'ve been @ CMON for awhile. My question which I send out to the vast reaches of our awesome hobby is this... Since there are sooo many miniature gaming companies out there, i.e. GW, Privateer Press, Rackham, Freebooter, Hasslefree, etc...
What would you like to see in the miniatures that would revolutionize the face of the hobby and game forever?
I\'m curious to see the different opinions and hopes.

I catch you on the flip side. -Wyldfoxx

As I once mentioned to Steve Buddle (trying to drop a hint) I\'d like to see a Dragon with a chest area proportunate to the power of the wings. (Just think how strong the Keel bone (Sternum) in a birds chest has to be, to support the stresses of take off!)

I had a book once that suggested that dragons inflate themselves with hydrogen to achieve lift. They breathe fire by belching up the hydrogen and igniting it. They like gold because their highly acidic body chemistry (to generate the H2) corroded any other nesting material. A pretty clever idea considering those characteristics were put together with no scientific reason in mind.

Id like to see the G.W. Inquisitor range expanded with more Inquisitors and representives from the top 7 Marine chapters, all in Plastic ! With world class sculptors being brought in to do the masters , the sort of guys who sculpt the action hero figures in resin & vinyl (.Boy can those people sculpt!.)........Sorry , drifted away into a complete fantasy for a minute.....GOD bless ..........VINCENTI lol

I have mentioned on similar discussions that I would really like to see more \'multi-staged\' characters.

Instead of cranking out new characters all the time, I\'d like to see the SAME character in a multitude of poses, with different weaponry, riding a horse, in winter garb, etc. etc.

Plus I would love to see more \'accessories\' for base embellishment. Sculpted things that you could add to a base or diorama to add a bit of realism, whether its just a soda can, or a water bucket...Just real life in scale items.

I\'d love to see a new line of Cthulhu inspired miniatures. There are some around, but they are showing their age, and they are hard to come by.

Thanks for the comments...

Thank you for all the comments.
Good stuff about the sci-fi and inquisitor scale models.
But is there anything about the models themselves you would want to see change?
Or maybe something in the gameplay?

Depends, are you making a game? If so I have this scenario you see: 50 foot tall well endowed women fighting futuristic Ninjas with laser spears on the moon. All ninjas would be required to kick ass and all women must have their ass exposed. Also, we would need some kick butt scenery like giant trolleycars to throw at people and broken spaceships as weapons. And bombs. I love things that blow up. Also, rather than the typical dice numbers that come up, each side would correspond to a noise a person would make while fighting. For instance, on 2d6, a WWWWACCCHHHAAA! and an KKKAAABBBOOOOOM would beat a \"EEEEHHHH\" and a \"GRRRRRRRR\". Also, anytime someone rolls doubles they\'d get to punch the person to their immediate right. And by that I mean it\'s right to punch whoever you want. I\'m still working on how you win though. I was thinking, maybe all games should be tied to the time before Family Guy starts, and the person with the coolest move right before the show starts would be the winner.

Now that I\'ve hijacked your thread...

I always thought it would be nice to see a game and miniature line based off the \"Redwall\" series of books by Brian Jacques - although that might be due to my childhood fascination with them.

Dune miniatures; wearing costumes from the 1984 movie. proper scale sandworms too, and navigators and steersmen from the book etc.
