I have been wanted the Angel of Vengence pendant from warp for a long time. Only recently have I decided I will spend the money on getting it. Has anyone had experience with this site? Is it quick or slow? Good or bad? Products quality or crap? Don\'t bother or go ahead?
Looking for any additional info. Thanx ahead of time.
Never heard anything about it...either way.

No I havent, But for months they have been teaseing about a book and a line of miniatures based on the artwork of John Blanche called \"The Femme Miliants\" so Im looking forward to it.

@Dragon Forge Design - Seen this? Femme Militants

@mrteal - I Haven\'t ordered from the site, but they are part of Games Workshop, so I don\'t think they\'re going to take your money and not send you your stuff etc

It seems similar to Specialist Games in that they are not getting much support/ updates from GW anymore though. they were going to release a replica of Sunfang ages ago, its still never seen the light of day :~(

Ok, that is some very warped stuff. I often wonder what kind of mind it takes to come up with things like this.

Wow thats cool, creepy but cool. The design of the site is very interesting and someone took some time for the design. I\'d like to see some stuff like that.

I got to be honest I didn\'t like the site or much of John Blanche\'s imagery.

It\'s a personal thing, but I find the scrappy, undefined sytle not to my taste.
I\'s a bit too much like the work of Gerald Scarfe another artist who\'s work I\'m not keen on.

I can understand that, its a little loose. I only hope the miniatures have a tighter feel. I guess Ill have to wait and see.

Blanche is the only guy with any new ideas at GW. His stuff is inspirational and GW don\'t make enough of it. He\'s definitely gone the route of Ralph Steadman, and his illustrations are all the better for it.

Quality site too. :)

seems that Mr Blanche just does these drawings and other artists and the miniature designers \"translate\" them into something palatable for the tabletop.

Personally I like them. The art books published often have some Blanche work in them and you can see the seeds of the final minis in them

Yeah, I have always liked the sketchy style Blanche has. It has a gothic otherworldly feel to it.

It makes me feel a bit nostalgic, regardless of how new his work is. Frank Frazettas painting evoke that same feeling to me....not sure what that means

IIRC they had the Femme Militant minis on the Black Library stand at UKGD last year. I\'m sure I saw something of them. Not sure if they were on sale or not though

You have seen some of the miniatures? Lucky you..All Ive seen is the artwork and herd about the miniatures.

Ive always loved Johns Artwork. I used to have the Ratspike book but it was borrowed from me years ago and never returned. Would kill to find another copy.

Yes, one was on the Black Library stand at Games Day last year, converted & painted by Matt Parkes. They are bigger than normal GW, nearer 40mm.

A number of sculpters have been commissioned to produce them.
