Vallejo problem at high altitude

Try it with 1/2 Dozen or so, non critical colors. If it works for them then you have your answer.:D

I\'ve got an odd question : how high above sea level are people getting this problem?

I\'ve painted with Citadel paints (all-era pots) at my parents in law\'s place and haven\'t had any problem. They live about 720 meters above sea level (2400 feet, 800 yards).

Is it an altitude, a paint, or a pot design problem?


Hi green stuff,
never had this prob with Citadel, GW or other paints that have a big opening. It applies to Vallejo only I think because of the drop-eye-bottle. That\'s an opening that is too small to allow an easy exchange of air pressure.

The problem is definitely air pressure. Next time you open them don\'t shake it, first open and squeeze it a little to let air escape, close and then shake. I use Reaper and Vallejo and that happens to me sometimes and I\'m at only 2500 altitude.
