Not sure on the Axe with the half Ultra. I do like the one with the fist though. I think it will look better once (re)painted.

I really like the one with the blade in position for a thrust. Will be great to see all of these painted out on a SC board.

Glad you like that one, (thrust dude) as I really wasn\'t sure on it! I think the half ultra is a bit too big for the axe, but thats as small as my fat fingers can make,lol

I think what\'s making the axe look wrong is the fact that the top of the U is higher than the top of the blade. If you got them level I bet it would look much better.

Yeah I was thinking that as well, good suggestion I will try and file it down a bit more

I couldn\'t figure out where to put the power cable on the imperial fist axe, but just though of putting it from the side into the fist, so it looks it\'s holding it. Struggling to find something thin and flexible enough to use though. Anyone used fishing line before?

I\'m stuck as to what colour to paint the half-ultra, white silver or gold?? any ideas?

Glad I took those close up, never would\'ve noticed that blob, which has now been sanded out

I was thinking white. But I would suggest using whatever colour you use for the ulta-symbols on the shoulder pads.

Yeah I was thinking white to go with normal shoulder pad design, and the new relic blades have white half ultra embellishments, but my commander will have white armour to fit in will the space crusade box with just one shoulder pad painted in chapter colours so not too sure whether it will be too much white.

I\'m leaning toward gold, I\'ll try and photoshop it when I get home from work and post them side by side.

If he\'s going to be mostly white with blue highlights I would go with a blue half U.

Whatever colour ends up being your \'support\' colour should be used.

That\'s a good idea, why didn\'t I think of blue...........obvious choice for ultramarines! i do have some small blue \"U\" transfers which I could put on a knee pad or something, to tie it all together

Colour for dreadnought face plate?

Well here is the first pic of my Chaos Dreadnought. I didnt like th grey at first, but think it looks ok now I\'ve got the red and silver on. The red is going to go up to blood red as I want it a bit brighter

I don\'t know what colours to do for the top \"face plate\". I was thinking about doing silver trimming at the bottom and doing the face either red or a different shade of grey, anybody got any ideas?

P.s I know my paintings cack, used the paint too thick again hence the streaks.
