True Blood, for all of its faults (most notably the incredibly bad \'Southern\' accents), is leaps and bounds ahead of Twilight.

The main thrust of TB is that vampires are really a lot like normal humans; they all have their own personalities, motivations, and \'moral\' codes. They just happen to drink blood, blow up in the sun, fly and other minor little niggles.

And I have to admit...the vampire losing her virginity, then discovering she\'d have to lose it again every time she has sex...made me laugh for a lot longer than it probably should have.

Nothing has made me want to watch a single episode of this show, until now. Now I simply MUST check it out!

well i have to say i have broken (a couple of friends badgering me to watch it) and so far i am enjoying it. some bits are a bit crap but it's quite funny, and anna is *hot*. am enjoying it so far
