Well my friend wants to buy Shaun's miniature, while I'm interested in Pamela (Dakota, or Double-D Dakota, as I call her :tongue:) and Foxxy (Adriana), since I think we need more women. As for Rick... I may pass on him just because I call Phil "Rick", just so I can occasionally yell, "MY WIFE IS DEAD!".

Also, in the original Kickstater we had 6 free promo miniatures (Nick, Dave, El Cholo... "Ash", "CTS", and Eagle PLUS they all came with zombivor versions... although we had no clue back then what that meant), and so far in this Kickstarter we have 4 free promo survivors. Do you think they plan to give us 2 more free ones?

I hope we do get some more free survivors. Looks like a safe bet that we will since there is still quite a long stretch of time to go & they will almost def. add many more goodies before it's all said & done.

For me I can't really imagine it's Shane because I read The Walking Dead comic before I watched the TV series, and as such, in my mind Shane died waaaaay early on. In fact, they did sort of show the scene in the TV series when Shane was supposed to die, namely during the "hunt" in the forest with Rick (and ends in the scene where Dale catches Shane... and then never bothers to warn Rick, nice one Dale!).

My only concern is they keep seperating the survivors minaitures from their zombivor counterparts. I wish they wouldn't do that. If you're paying for an optional survivor it should include their zombivor (after all $10 for a plastic miniature and character sheet is kinda steep, when you put it into perspective). If it free, well, then it should be consecutive stretch goals (i.e. free survivor, $25K later, zombivor version). I keep expecting the Kickstarter to end and not obtain a zombivor version of some miniature...

about kickstarter season 2, Guillotine games knew they were going to succeed more than season 1, thats the reason cos reward goals have been thought more. I think at the end will have more or less the same free gift as first campaign (but not the same, no t-shirt, maybe no litograph)

I'm not sure who suggested it, but as I recall ages ago someone ID'd Josh as Jesse Pinkman (Breaking Bad). So ever since then I've mentally associated him with Josh's miniature, just how I associated Rick Grimes with Phil's miniature.

sheldom has no ability at first, its a bit lame. Cocktail are dificult to get but in our group dave always mix gasoline with bottle, and at the end of the game, it's pretty good.

I think it would have been better if the ability was "If you have either the gasoline or glass bottle you can create a Molotov Cocktail", rather than doubling it. Doubling is great, IF you can get both item cards... and on Dave. Otherwise he has serious issues at the start of the game by lacking a usuable ability.

Also, I think they should use this chance by updating Phil, since they'll be re-issuing his character card with the zombivor stats on the back, to update his Blue-level ability. They should change it from Pistol to a more powerful handgun or other firearm, IMHO. A mere pistol doesn't cut it anymore as a starter weapon. I'm fairly confident that Brad will probably start off with a magnum, for example.

While I do try to wear the shirt to every game, I could do without a new one or the artwork. Just so long as no two miniatures end up being seperated (i.e. survivor and zombivor versions).

Yep, Jules...er Marvin is 1 of my fav. promos... the other being Danny "The Mexican Thug" Trejo... the others are neat: honorable mention Ash with the rest as nice variety & favorites of certain friends, family members.

He reminds me of Shane from WD TV. The comic is a far different animal & vastly superior to the show... but at least we get a decent enough (at times) mini series out of it... I only like 3 chars. from WD TV: Carl/Daryl/Mic. while in the book I groove quite a few more.

Look at it this way: For $10 a pop you get reg. & zombivor version of the char that will not be available at retail. Even if ya don't like the char. in your case ya mentioned Rick earlier, snag 1 to trade for something else w/o having to deal with the price gouging. As for them not ending with a zombivor char. for a survivor... odds are that won't be happening... call it a gut feeling.

Next month is the target date for the remainder of the S1 promos so hopefully they will be on track. I am also looking forward to seeing how the zombivor mechanic will work.

TV WD is decent for what it is & at least it introduced Daryl... all around useful char. I feel the actor does a good job with the role. As for all of the other stuff... well they do what they can but cannot delve too deep into the darker aspects of the comic's vision.

Actually I figured you weren't saying Josh was Glenn, but rather he could be used as Glenn. However for me Josh is stuck in my head as Jesse Pinkman... so I just can't change that fact even through the power of imagination.

Hmmm. I wouldn't think so, since to date we have only seen characters primarily from movies, and a few TV shows. Of course Pamela Anderson was added this Kickstarter, so who can truly say?

It's a sad, sad, fact that an Asian survivor hasn't appeared in either Kickstarter. We need an Asian survivor! And I'll be damned if Kyoko (Lucy Liu) is the only option to date, because you can only win her through the Map contest... and even then you would need to win TWICE (since you only get to choose either her survivor OR zombivor miniature, not both, when you win).

Whether it's Bruce Lee, Jet Lee, Jackie Chan, or Glenn, we need an optional/free Asian survivor added.

The simple answer is: Yes. Zombivors can take up to 5 wounds before dying (again), but at Yellow level they never gain +1 action, rather they gain another skill as a substitute (which could be +1 Free Search or +1 Move or any other skill). I'm interested in any zombivor that gets the supernatural strength skill, as this add +1 to all melee damage, meaning that with a weapon that already deals 2 damage (i.e. Fire Axe) you can now deal 3 wounds... and kill Abominations. Molotovs will no longer be the only solution for dealing with them.

Yup. Suffice it to say, the comic is better than the TV series, IMHO. The main reason, none of the characters in the comic ever did anything that really made you think "WTF did s/he do that?!?". In the TV series that tends to happen at least once an episode.

Yup, "Will" is based on Wolowitz (had to Google his name... as otherwise I would have had no idea how to spell it correctly). I told my friend who won't play "Dave", but he seemed fine with it. Apparently he only hates Sheldon and that's why he won't play "Dave". That and the whole x2 Molotov skill not being all that great as a Blue level skill (which is what I dislike most about Dave).

But hey, it's great that GG finally included a unique item card along with their miniature (I'm hoping this is the start of a trend for them). Although I still think it's wrong to split the survivor and zombivor miniatures (as stretch goals). IMHO, for optional purchased survivors GG should include the zombivor version immediately, while for the promo free survivors GG should just include both miniatures (survivor/zombivor) in the same stretch goal. But hey, whatever.

i would let all military and slayers (buffy, alice, teminators,...) tothe next hell difficult level season

we need something from mall movies or prison ones... someone said silent bob or jay and i think they fit pretty well in a mall enviroment, some child will be nice to add some variety (carl or zombieland girl , i never cant remember the state)
what tv series or movies have a mall background?
A team always will be an option (MA, fenix, Murdock, anibal smith) but prison background is often mix with militars.

Buffy would be a nice choice and as I've mentioned before Wendy never seemed to "fit" as Juliet Starling (Lollipop Chainsaw), if that's indeed who she was based on. What I would like to see is Buffy, maybe in a cheerleader uniform. Maybe that's too corny. Maybe not a cheerleader uniform.

Everyone keeps asking for Alice and Jill, but what about poor Leon? His popularity was better in the animated RE movies I assume.

Bill Murray would be a bit of an odd choice if only because in most other cases the survivor is based on the character the actor/actress portrayed in a movie and not themselves. While Bill Murray was Bill Murray in Zombieland. Hence the oddness.

As for Marvel Zombies... nah. I just can't see how that would work. But hey, that's just my opinion.

But Ultra-Red Level technically goes on FOREVER. I just can't see how you could go higher than it. Still, some people have suggested they may be holding off on military-based characters for the next release/season... maybe it will have a military base theme? Just a thought.

Other than the Dawn of the Dead (remake)? Well here's a suggestion, why not add in a photographer/journalist, say, Frank West (Dead Rising)? He sure spent a lot of time killing zombies in a mall...

Well he's an interesting choice, that's for sure. However, I'm surprise more that all the optional characters weren't either mall-themed or prison/crime-themed. Only when they added the two lead characters from Silence of the Lambs did that thought cross my mind. Oddly enough Snake Plissken, who was a prisoner in both Escape from New York and Escape from L.A., would have been a good choice here. And talking about police/criminal duos, who could forget Sylvester Stallone as John Spartan, along with his counterpart Wesley Snipes as Simon Pheonix in Demolition Man?

Base ability +1 inventory, red zone +1 damage. You get the idea.

Oh, I thought he would have started off at Blue-level with the Assault Rifle, considering how much of a "gun nut" (survivalist) he was.
