This was not covered by the other topics so I thought that I may as well post it here.

I saw the The Matrix Revoloutions the other day and I liked it so much that I am going to see it again this afternoon! The cinematography is absoloutley incredible and although it may be a bit mushy at times. It is a great ending to a great Trilogy! I only hope they have more sequels as this trilogy has taken movie-making to a whole new level!

I just wanted to share my appreciation with everyone and hope that other people think the same way.

Perasonally I thought this was the worst of the 3. Weak story. It\' didn\'t seem to follow the first one very well( I know it was the 3rd). The first gave some great story and ideas but that all got lost in the sequels. I dont want to spoil it for anybody. but what happened to all the other ships like the hammer? Worth watching for the battle in Xion alone, that rocked. But have to say it is one of the worst weakest endings to a film I have EVER seen! Oh well cant have everything. At least it wasn\'t as bad as The Phantom Menace.

ya . . not too crazy about this one . . . Though I don\'t think the first one deserved the cult status it achieved either.

As for the Hammer - what happened to it is the subject of the latest Matrix console game which basically tells the story of that ship and her crew.

Well I have to say I was quit disapointed to. Some scene and dialogues are just horrible.Like that slow motion punch from neo, why did they have to unclude such a stupid thing??? The story was ok event thought it was quit predictable. Overall I\'d say that the only point to the movie is the action.

Liked some of it, the action and Monica Belucci in particular :innocent:

Ah, Monica Belucci.. GRRRrrrrowwwwllllll.... :D
(Enter Wayne\'s world mode) She can jack in to my Matrix any time.. When she\'s around, there WILL be a spoon... (Exit Wayne\'s world mode)

Anyways.. I thouht the plot was very good, most people were probably looking for this climactic ending where one side or the other wins, but think of it this way: If the machines won, it would really suck for humankind, and if Xion won, there\'s no way they could storm the Machine City and kill all of them so tehy would just have to wait until another attack came. The peace they now have gives a sense that the world will go on for both sides. I think it\'s just normal for people to think there has to be a good and a bad side, and that good always has to win, but that was relly not the issue here: the humans wanted to survive, the machines wanted to survive, both sides got their way in the end.

However, I do concede that in the last two movies there was no great moment of revelation like the fact the world wasn\'t real or that Neo is the One.. The Worchestire brothers must\'ve been lazy. But keep in mind, the Matrix was based on an anmie movie, and if you watch them, most do not have a definite ending, they allude to the fact the characters go off and do other things and so I think it\'s a bit better, since you can imagine your own adventures for them.

Personnaly I hated the final movie. The story was ok, not enough allusion to Alice in the sequels :(. At least reloaded had the scene with the architect where it was like \"Neo, you aren\'t the savior, you are my tool because I suck at math.\" (nothing to do with Alice, I\'m just rambling). But the action scenes in both were ridiculous drawn out affairs, not at all sexy like the ones in the first movie. And another thing, there were no regular agents, and the Twins were gone!!!:D

well you know what :moon: to you all! I loved it!

The story is fantastic, I don\'t know why everyone\'s so upset by it. It\'s all so clever and deep, with more being revealed, damn, it kept me interested. The action is to die for, of course, there is no equal of it. sure, neo isn\'t the best actor, but you know what, he acts right for the part. I think people are waaaaaay too critical of this movie, just because it\'s the sequal to \"the matrix\".

Where were the twins though? In an interview they said they got plenty of action in the sequal. Maybe the scene got cut?

However, I am happy and satisfied:)

Revolutions - All things come around

My thoughts on Matrix Revolutions vary but I do have one constant feeling; I want to see the uber-disk pack of everything with additional footage and director\'s commentary.

It was a good film. The first deserved cult status because the Wachowski\'s did several things that no film before it ever did. They used HK wirefighting, deep philosophical arguments, and an involved and interesting plot in a big budget action film.

How do you beat what is widely regarded as one of the best and most ground breaking films of all time? Had the Wachowski\'s really cared what our small legion of nerds thought they\'d have made two new films going in different directions rather than finish out the trilogy and do the spinoffs.

As it is, they\'ve got a HUGE bankroll and a reputation built up to do whatever the hell they want now. So I\'m hoping that they\'re doing something new in a completely different direction.

After seeing the final battle between Neo and Smith the only thing I could think was how cool it would be if the Wachowski\'s took over the currently stalled Superman movie.

Well you should still go whatever we say about it, you have to decide for yourself if you like it or not. Alas, Monica Belucci will not be as spectacular for you as she was for me :innocent:, unless you\'re chocolate Tooshy :D

Even though I hated it, it is still worth seeing. There are some beautiful visuals in it. :flip::bouncy:
