Some greens

Got some great pictures from Hellric. He painted up my rot demon and I can\'t wait to see the other 3 he has yet to do. Guy is a master painter, love everything he does. I\'m planning to remove the horrible paint jobs of mine and add black washed minis for the details and only leave his brilliantly painted minis on the site. I also will be adding another sculptor if all goes well soon.

More pictures of Hellric\'s brilliant paint job!

I love your greens, but I think you should work a little on your photography and the layout of your site.

I am anxious to see that devil finished.

definitely better than I could do!

But one thing I did notice was missing is a female barbarian in a chainmail bikini with fur or leather boots on! Every good mini line has to have one of those! :D

I\'m with Meg on that, though I\'m some what worried no bloke has pointed it out leaving it to a girl to say it.

I love your sculpting especially the alien hunters on your site.

Thanks you everyone. I will be reworking the site but after two 18hr days in a row I\'m taking a break till this weekend. It\'s starting to get busy time for concrete now.

The female barbarian is a great idea and I will try. I never sculpted a female figure, I just hope my wife does not get mad and ask who I used for a model.

If the model is turning out well, look your wife dead in the eye and say she\'s your one and only inspiration.

If it\'s looking more like a bloated demon with some form of pestilence or another... just claim it\'s based on your best recollection of your ex-girlfriend.

I repainted a few of these using a dip method to better show the detail. I\'m very glad I did this. Now you can see my sculpting is not bad and the stuff looks 100times better. I\'m repainting all of my miniatures this way, well except for those Hellric paints for me, he is a master painter.

For those of you interested I rebuilt the web site and it is 100% better. I also did some new pictures which for me almost show the quality of my sculpting. I made them look like slides as well by simply curving some plastic and setting them on it. Worked real well. I also did not use a flash this time. Anyway, comments on the site layout, or suggestions would be nice. I picked up a friend from warseer and am molding and casting his stuff as well, so he has one thing on there and I\'ll be adding more of his.

it\'s a good start. you still have a ways to go on proportions. the daemon stuff is great. have you looked at 1listsculpting group on yahoo? there are many tips in the files section. look forward to more sculpts.

Thanks for the comments. I\'ve been sculpting for a few years but these 25mm minis on my site have been my first few attempts at sculpting that small. The elf was my first 25mm I ever did from scratch and has loads of learning curves. I did just buy some dummy armatures at 25mm scale to help me keep from getting distorted. Once the next few are done I\'ll be using those, as paper clip wire is hard to get into the right shape and position at times.

Anyway, Hellric just finished painting my slug demon up, here is the link:

and a picture to catch your eyes.
