I have painted lots and lots of GW stuff in the past, but since my painting has approved so has my taste for minis. 
GW stuff (mainly the plastic stuff) is way to poor sculpted. They miss fine details, so I stick to \"Rackham\", \"Freebooter\", \"Forgeworld\", \"Hasslefree\" etc. (in this order ).
I don\'t have a favorite mini, but at the moment I like the death korps minis from Forgeworld a lot.

I\'ve got a selection of GW old and new, Rackham, Reaper, etc as well as some 20 year old Ral Partha and Grenadier stuff lurking. At the moment I love the Rackham sclpts can\'t seem to paint them as well as they should be.

I love the look of Wolfen and my aim is to get at least one painted well.

I don\'t get enough time to paint properly but I\'m developing a style of very thin layers - practically glazing all the way that\'s looking quite good when I have the patience for it.

I have to admit to being a Magpie for Eye Candy. I love Spyglass miniatures for their simple and graceful lines, Freebooter for their detail and posture and so many others for so many reasons.

As often as possible, but I\'m limited to Saturday Afternoon and Sunday\'s and the occaisional Day off.
Black Tree also do a load of Butt Nekkid Picts etc

interesting........... but what is running through my mind is, I would shot myself if I had to wear those shoes......what ever happened to comfortable flats. Those women would be crippled before the day was out.....ladies...
no man has had the balls to say this yet, so i guess it falls to me...it\'s just not the same when ya see a mini sculpted with his todger hangin\' out...a ladies natural assets always get a rise out of a dude...a man\'s package in it\'s natural state is just not very impressive...especially if it\'s cold out!!! even the statue of david\'s package gets more giggles than oohh\'s and aahh\'s, but the ladies love his muscles...
the barbarians with muscles bulgin\' and a little fur coverin\' his bits is more impressive than some madman with his little cocktail weenie flappin\' about...
now if his drill sergeant was standin\' at attention, that would impress the ladies...hell, if someone was gonna sculpt it, i could even model for \'em...

lollollol You have you\'re points. Even I would rather look at Angelina Jolie naked than Brad Pitt even if he\'s cute as a button. I actually have an excalibur mini of a naked guy that\'s pretty impressive. I have plans for him that he might not aprove of.
But still.......it still seems out of proprtion and don;t people who sculpt have egos? I wouldn\'t mind painting something they sculpted of what they THINK they have! :twisted:
