Sculpt: Barbarian!

@Epoxymancer: Thank you very much! I usually bake the minis when it`s all finished. I can sculpt with epoxy too, but I can be more precise with polymers.
Yep, manufacturers have already knocked down my front door :D Some of my minis have been edited by Cmon, Kraken, Fenryll, among others. And for some others companies really soon ;)

@Amazon Warrior: I`m sorry, I don`t understand your Fimo Random Question :D
If it is about the casting, you can`t vulcanize polymers (or you choose to lost the master), so you have to cast a "precast" in resin, with a silicon mold if you want a metal cast.
Actually, I do prefer to see my minis casted in resin, I can be more free and precise during the sculpting process.
I hope to answer to your question...

That's a pretty good answer, actually. Thanks! :)

I picked up some Fimo classic to try sculpting with it, and thought I'd ask on the slim-to-none chance that I manage to produce something that I want more than one of!

Anyways, keep up the good work - I love seeing how minis are born, it makes me appreciate them (and the sculptors) even more.

Ammon, you're not by coincidence MIKH? Linky

Your work and his are breathtaking amazing. I'm loving that miniature, but not my type of thing to paint up.

Thank you guys for your kind comments :)
I am really glad that you like it!

@Aluna: no, I am not MIKH, and even if I am french, sculptor and using fimo like him, I have not got his sculpting level... But I am so glad that you compare his work with mine, thanks! :)

Very Awesome. I would like to see closer up pictures of the Barb though, more like the first pictures of the work in progress. I like the effect of the black background and the lighting of the finished pics, but I think the first pictures actually showed off the amazing detail better. Great job, the sculpt couldn't be better. It's a masterpiece in my eyes.

Ammon, this is really awesome work, sculpting is fabulously sharp and I like the design of the figure. Looking forward to the next one.....

20 cm/ 8 inches Monster WIP

Hi everybody,

between sculpting orders and the time needed to create my own minis company (Ammon Miniatures), I`ve found the time to begin this HUUUUGE (for me...) sculpt.

(please, how can I change the title of this topic?)

Oh...wow. I'm loving this new sculpt! Especially the way the fingers point. Shaping up really really well, can't wait to see how it shapes up in the end =D
