Rediculous Challenges

An apology by any other name?

I tend to see apologizing as doing something for my own benefit - It makes me feel better when I've done something daft...
If I was in your shoes I'd feel pretty daft having responded to this fella in the first place, then I'd feel really embarrassed at having gotten angry at him (or her...)
and then having replied again? Well...
If you do feel kinda silly with regards to your own actions, and you feel as though YOU might feel better if you apologised, then you might feel it is a good idea to apologise.

Otherwise forget it. And him. (or her...).

But I do suggest you take up ScottRadom's challenge thou, I feel it's a good 'un.

And don't forget:
1) There are more immature 50yr olds out there than 10yr olds (for their age anyway).
2) Just because someone is a schmuck, doesn't mean they don't know what they're talking about.
3) Having made so many references to 'feelings', I feel the need to go take a shower...

It means to get "one over, beat, conquer and humiliate". It's mostly used in online computer game's. It all started with counter strike back in the day!

Comes from 'own' and 'ownage' but there was the famous typo in an old game which wrote it as 'pwn' and its taken off from there.

LOL really ?!? I always assumed it was like a reference to the pawn chess piece. Something to do with how they get taken out quite easily.

@lomaxxdurang: The comment was uncalled for, don't even get riled up about it otherwise you just end up reducing yourself to that level, keep at it and just take in the constructive feedback.

That aside I like your current Ork warboss, the reference to someone's force is always both cheeky and fun.

@lomaxxdurang: As you'll know by now the provider of the Pinesol comment has been banned.
This is not the first time this person has been the subject of both moderator warnings or action, as he (?) has deliberatly targetted submitters with lower end scores, making blatently unhelpful and insulting comments and in one particular case bordering on Harrassment.

While comments like the Pinesol one are unpleasant to receive I'm happy to say that they are extremely rare and that particular person was one for whom 90% of his comments were not normally passed.

As it stands the images you have placed up on here have ended up with below tabletop scores, but I ask you to not be discouraged by that as there is a wealth of advice freely available from the denizens of the forums. Just remember not to look them directly in the eyes.:glasses-cool:
