Most doctors treat it with drugs but a mate of mine who isnt too bright saw attention deficite disorder and thought it meant he needed more attention. So he payed his son more attention and lo and behold six months later he was cured. Could be something in that for all of us.

Damn right. Unfortunately most so called ADHD is just natural youthful exuberance not given sufficient outlet. Most kids are hyperactive, they are like damn energiser bunnies, but you keep them occupied, stimulated and exercised and they\'ll be fine.

Give me any kid and after a day hiking, canoing, abseilling, biking, paintballing they sure won\'t have much energy left to do anything but sleep.

Girls can have attention deficit problems, but it\'s usually the inattentive type, they stare out the window daydreaming about lilac colored ponies and don\'t cause any problems for the teacher, so they get overlooked. The most recent diagnosis is that there\'s Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder with OR without hyperactivity. ???

ps: everyone here will let me know if I\'m overusing the emoticons, right?

Comfort yourself in the knowledge that he\'ll probably take the Hollywood route and end up as some crazy dictator hell-bent on taking over the world only for James Bond or some other archetype to foil his fiendish plans :D

... craziest thing I ever read.

One of my nephews maintained that he had been to Australia and remembered seeing flying squirrels. My sister said they don\'t have flying squirrels there, but I told her that they do have sugar gliders, a marsupial creature that does the same flying/gliding thing. That\'s when the hair on the back of her neck stood up.

A few years ago, my wife read an article about a university professor from the University of Virginia that had done a study on children that claimed past life experiences. It seems like a legitimate study of the phenomenon.
