Day: 3

It has been three days of my putting up with my cousin, and those three days have been torture. My cousin is a only child, spoilt, 10 year old with really bad ADHD persisting for attention every moment of the day (and the night )
My parents are busy or at work so my bro and i have had to keep him occupied. We just recently played darts with him, he cheated the whole time, my bro and i just got sick of him and turn on the playstation to keep him occupied. I have 2 more days with this monster.

Somebody Help Me!
Any Suggestions??

brew a pot of coffee, have him drink a cup or two... should calm him down!

or

teach him to paint minis, one of the great things about adhd is if you can get the child to sit, and focus on something, they tend to hyper focus... think about when you paint, the amount of concentration involved. perfect for an ADD child. Works wonders for my daughter.

@Gin: Thats true, i have tried to show him some of my mini\'s though, unfortunatly, he says they \'childish\' (but he is a child?) and he just wants to watch Nickelodeon

Basically...
a condition (mostly in boys) characterized by behavioral and learning disorders
and..
They can get really agressive

Seriously have you just asked him what he wants to do. Might be obnoxious but for two days maybe jsut let him cheat at games. No skin off your nose long term. Also have yoy talked to your parents as to what suggestions they might have on how to amuse him?

Most doctors treat it with drugs but a mate of mine who isnt too bright saw attention deficite disorder and thought it meant he needed more attention. So he payed his son more attention and lo and behold six months later he was cured. Could be something in that for all of us.

@All: We have a Playstation and an Xbox, he plays on those. He has bout some \'Yugioh\' cards around, i read the rules and have played him a few times, Yay! I win, lol
But as DrEvilMonki said i have decided to do something he wants, he said he wanted to see the \'Cheaper by the Dozen 2\' movie at the cinaemas, guess i\'ll go and see hat with him then....
