nice work and at really quick pace, Meph you are going to have to hit the red bull again mate lol
the vehicles are really moody looking and look like they are in used condition...for about a thousand years, which is just so.
should be an impressive sight once you get them all on parade.

My two Sang. Priests done... a bit sloppy I must admit.. painting whites is though, I layered some greys and whites, and a black wash along with a sepia wash, then more white layers (maybe I over did the layering..) but good enough for the tabletop.. seen from above they stand out though, the white details make them easy to notice.

Indeed, they look nice and distinctive. I do like the look of the helmets a lot. Looks a bit like old porcelain.

Here's some close ups of Mephiston Lord of Cheese.
A bit of a mess on the details.. I know.. but I'm happy with the way the Force Sword came out with the atempt of source lightning on the armour and stuff. :p

Here's a little work in progress of the Sanguinary Guard... I'm prety much done with the golds.. (I Might add some pin point purple washes here and there for an extra shade) But I'm done with the armor, I'm ready to paint details like weapons, red bits on the armor, gems, wings, cloth, bases, etc...

I used some random deep gold paint.. then I applied a wash of devlan mud, after that I used a custom made purple/brown wash for stronger shades... then prety much was dry brush with lighter shades of gold from Tamiya.

Here's some progress on my 10 man death company, I used a black basecoat and then a couple of drybrush highlights with tones of grey (with a tinny bit of blue on it) After that I washed all models, first with a dark red tone, and then a heavy pure black wash after the first one was dry.

I started with some red details already, but that part is on a very initial stage, it's just the base colour. But for now the base shades on the power armour and the bases are done.

I might give the black power armour another black wash coat to make it a bit darker, but I'm not sure yet. They're supposed to have black armour, but just painting them black seems too boring I guess, better kind of give a sense of reflection and grey gradients to make them stand out a bit more and avoid dullness.

I don't see the end of it... but here's a bit of progress...

I washed the power armor again with a dark blue (almost black) to kill the dustyness and And started painting the red bits with blood red, also some metallic details, the two guys without a helmet and the helmet's eyes with an attempt of glow effect...

I will paint the gems with a red-purple tone, other details like spikes and skulls golden, and the scrolls and cloth just kind of a bone color washed with some sepia and stuff... and I still need to highlight the red details with some blazing orange..

Thank you man, really appretiate your comments =)
Also any suggestion or painting tips to improve will be appretiated as well. I basically base coat everything with a red spray paint, then I coat again with heavy washes to tone down the red, and then I go layering slowly with a bunch of thinned down blood red coats, but I still get some brush strokes here and there, so there's room for improvement.

Cheers!

So I started painting and assembling a Stormraven gunship... to be honest I didn't spend much time on the interiors, since only the front hatch will be functional, so I guess it's ok to leave out sloppy mistakes you won't be able to notice too many details once it's all assabled together anyways.

Your painting skills are already quite good, and obviously you've found the techniques that suit you well. You pay the same level of attention to all elements and areas of the model, so they look "consistent", they're nothing standing out from the crowd. It is really difficult to get the same level of focus and attention to every area of a model, again this is a really good job.

Large surfaces are quite ttricky to do with a brush, brush stokes can come from paint not thinned enough, painting a layer without waiting for the previous to be fully dry, or your brushes (they could be in need of cleaning, or of a change). I'm sure others will add other reasons as well. Really smooth gradients are best achieved with an airbrush on large flat panels, but it's a totally different tool to master.

I usually dont bother with interiors, not for gaming models anyways.

And yeah the interior will be quite dark once the model is built, so sloppiness is ok there!
