Well, Ok, This Is A Stupid Thread, But Hey, Who Cares! lol

Ok, Simple, Where would you be without CMoN?
(In Life, and painting etc.)

For Rod
- Painting would be poorer, i have learnt so much on CMoN
- Friendships would not have been made
- And.. I wouldn\'t be able to go to GW and tell them the latest rumours.. lol

Ok, Now its your turn...

That\'s where I\'d still be.

I\'m doing up some space marines now and I\'m going to do a side-by-side shot when I do of my pre-CMON and post-CMON space marines.

I\'m the same, even already did side by side shot like this, I should do another one of these sisters, since the last one was more than a year ago now!

Well that\'s depressing. You started out (and I realize I am biased) worse than me and in less time your improvements have left mine in the dust.

I wouldn\'t know what mould lines are. I\'d think drybrushing was teh sh*t!!1!!!omgz!1!
I wouldn\'t be using (and loving) a wet pallete, wouldn\'t know blending, etc etc.

I recently came across some of my very first mini\'s painted, from like 1999... just horrible, I say :)

I recently got back on track, trying to finish my Wych Cult army, and I noticed that on all 60+ figs, I didn\'t file a single mould line... took an empty coffee can (the new plastic sealable ones), put all of the wyches in it, and covered them with laquer thinner... starting all over with \'em.

While socialism is a sin against humanity, I don\'t think it has any real religious conotations.:p

Without CMON (and City of Villians) taking up a large chunk of my time, I would have been 3/4\'s of the way through my plan of World Domination, as it is I haven\'t even started yet.

I have to agree with the majority here if it weren\'t for CMoN i\'d love drybrushing and would never know what a kolinsky brush was and think NMM was the latest emo metal band!

But i\'d feel a lot better about my painting standard :D turns out ignorance is bliss!!

Hah, you say that, but you would probably enjoy my benign, iron-fisted, monarchy.
Where Teachers, policemen and firefighters are paid more than grown men who play \"professional\" games for a living.
Where those that try will be taken care of and those that expect to be taken care of without working will go without.
Where those in prison will not have it better than our law abiding poor.
Of course the law where all women must scream My Name during sex might put some off, but you take the good with the bad.

Other than the \"monarchy\" part, you\'re probably right :D I\'m distinctly anti-royalist, though. I would, however vote for you for God/Emperor :D
That last provision wouldn\'t bother me all that much because:
1 - After this much time, I wouldn\'t care who\'s name she was calling out
2 - I\'m a man. ie - I don\'t really listen to what women say anyways :D lol :D

Well I probably would have never pushed so hard for a good digital camera.

I never would have discovered a decent place to upload photographs from my digital camera.

I never would have discovered how I can pester friends and relatives to view and purchase photographs uploaded to the decent place from my digital camera.

I never would have had the local pastor personally thank me in email for sharing my uploaded photographs of a local parish event.

Oh and I suppose CMON helped my painting skills. :duh:

A lot. Still got a lot more to go however.
