Sorry. But GW miniatures are getting on my nerves lately. Give it another five years and we\'ll be gawping at chunks of 50mm filligree....

I agree with this sentiment. GW minis are starting to really suck, they reached their peak in the very late 90s / early 2000s, they\'ve been sliding. The banner on the Libby and the stupdly chunky book on his shoulder will have to be removed, but he will be good when that\'s done. The rest of the pics are a but meh, but even that\'s a lot better than the turgid averageness of the nother DAs (which in turn are better than some of the turds they\'ve been shitting out recently).

I think I\'ll be buying even less GW than I\'ve bought in the past few years.

They are trying to hard to cram on everything they can to justify prices they forgot when enough was enough.

The libarian has so much potential really good dynamic poses but intead they made him into a bollard.

The biker guy again could be awesome but hes truly dull and OTT.

Im suprised anyone can say these are amazing.

Well, I quite like the librarian, not as good as the termy chaplian, but pretty good.

The jetbike though is a bit over the top. Don\'t care for it much.

I think GW are just a bit hit or miss. Some stuff I really like and other stuff just sucks. Like the power armour chaplains, soem of those are cool, but others look awful.

I reckon its soemthing to do with the way they put multiple sculptors on projects. Sometimes their styles gel and other times they don\'t. I reckon they would be better off seriously limiting the number of people working on a project to get a more cohesive style.

Also, GW seem to have let a number of excellent sculptors slip through their fingers.

Finally bear in mind that the gamers will buy stuff based on rules, pretty much irrespective of the mini. In terms of volume a gamer will be buying more than a painter. I think this leads to GW not being to picky about QC.

I could have done the Master of the Ravenwing years ago had I know that Imperial jetbikes were just smaller versions of Mars class cruisers.

Hell it\'ll probably cheaper to convert one from the BFG ships and SM bikers...
