Is it nesscary to have any "good / perfect" painting skill - or can I join even when my skills are between a vote of 5-6 compared to pictures from the gallery?

It's just about swapping a couple of unpainted minis that you bought & now aren't keen on anymore. No painting profficiency required Sleipnir!

Just check that you understand the rules in the opening post and then sign up :)

Cheers, B.

Thanks for the fast answer, BPI.

Just one last question (I`ll join anyway): Do I have to send back the painted mini or do i just have to post pictures of it?

So, here`s my sign up:

As Chris says Sleipnir. The minis you receive become your property. You can paint them, balance them on the top of your lead mountain, sell them on Ebay, squash them with a lump hammer... anything you like :D

Of course, that means you won't get back the minis that you send away! Don't pick your irreplaceable favourite ;)

As long as you post a photo in this thread of what you receive, all is good :good: It's an international lucky dip :)

Cheers, B.

Prefer to ship to N. Am., but could be convinced otherwise if needed :)

OK, so I know that I haven't been around for a while, so let me start off with "Back in my day" the objective of the mini exchange was to also receive back a mini that someone else painted. I always enjoyed seeing how others paint, and base. I have several painted minis from previous exchanges, and still enjoy looking at them for inspiration. I am looking forward to participating in this exchange, but will miss the anticipation of waiting to receive a mini that someone else has painted. Maybe we can include that facet of the exchange in the next one.

Cheers All,
Grumb

P.S. - Went through my mountain of lead the other night and pulled out minis for the exchange, have them boxed and ready to go, just need to know to whom and where to ship.

I would prefer not to ship worldwide but am capable of doing so if it makes the list a lot easier.

List publishing day, and my day of departure.
I've borrowed a laptop and will take my package with me, so I'll be able to send on time by checking the list.

Im still lacking alot of details as per the rules. Im going to need a day to put the list together (i was planning on doing it today but other things got in the way). Please can people who have signed up reread the rules, i dont want to have to remove people from this but if people dont read the rules i feel i have to. The rules are in place to make this more enjoyable and work for more people.
