If the last pope was John Paul, shouldn\'t the current one be George Ringo?

That joke was old in 1980.

Has anyone having a go at this actually listened to it, or are you all just assuming it\'s terrible?

Most of the \'expert\' opinion I\'ve seen thinks it is pretty bloody good, and it\'s not just some random cash in, it\'s fine reworking of pretty much all the best Beatles tunes by the bloke who has, outside of the four main members, had more involvement on the sound of their music than anyone else.

NPR piece on \"Love\" (interview with Sir George and son)
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5524232
8 minutes long, mostly regarding how the music was remixed and combined for the show.

I search, so you don\'t have to.

Beatles

Sounds like this would be worth a listen.

I don\'t mind the Beatles---my only problem with them is Paul M. I always get the feeling he\'s trying to please daddy with his music. Not a fan of Paul!

Just for the record: The original recorded version wasn\'t all the Beatles either. \"While My Guitar Gently weeps\" featured a long-uncredited performance by Eric Clapton.
