Hi,

me and a couple of friends are also trying to sculpt some figures for a upcoming game we're planning to launch soon;

up to now we have only used milliput and i was wondering how procreate is different from the milliput??

All help would be appreciated.

Honestly cant tell you right now, I got the miliput and didn't really like it. I've been using 50% 50% milliput and greenstuff just now but not got round to giving the procreate a try yet. Will probably get a shot using it tomorrow.

Miliput and epoxy resins (eg green stuff and Procreate) are a world apart.

Miliput is very messy and clay-like whereas epoxies are more rubbery. If you're sculpting mini's for a game I'd recommend epoxy putty or even trying polymer clay.

another tip if you are sculpting with milliput mix it then let it cure for about half an hour before use, it looses the tendancy to stick to everything but what you want it to and becomes easier to handle downside is you have to be quick.

OK Sorry that this is pic heavy, I wanted to re-size them but I just re-installed and haven't put office back on yet.
I haven't touched any of these for pretty much a couple of months, been too busy. Got a magnifying lamp for my birthday then finally got back in to it a couple of days ago and have been working mostly on a new Mech.
The stealer is not really what I was looking for in terms of the face but I am looking at it as a learning thing, still might chop the head off and start a fresh but we will see.
I was hoping for a bit of help with the muscle structure of the two figures I am doing. I have been adding clay for each part as I go (shoulder blades, chest arms) and trying to get the right shape. Sometimes I look at it and think it's ok others I think it doesn't look quite right.With the Mechs I have done previously I have struggled with symmetry (which has annoyed me) so I am trying a different approach of making press moulds of each part so I can duplicate them.
As always I appreciate the advice.
