Well, here is the last of whats needed for the tourney list. I\'m gonna slow down on Iron Giants updates for a bit because...well I\'m sick of building and painting them! Painting mostly...

After this it\'ll probably be back to the orks and the models I have to finish off for that army. We\'ll see.

Pics of the rhinos, I haven\'t spent as much time on painting these, but they\'ll still serve the purpose well enough. I could\'ve tidied them up a lot but...honestly...I\'m over them...lol!

As far as cardboard tanks go they are pretty solid, but obviously they\'re not on the same level as the rest of the army. Still a fine looking force, and there\'s enough big stabby death machines to take your attention away from the Rhinos :D

Damn those look nice! The only thing that gives they away is the insides of the road wheels.

Your starting orks?!? Oh goodness, this should be good.

Coming soon, to a pc near you...

This weekend I\'ll be having a 1750 pt game with this army against a few friends so we\'ll see how that goes. I\'ll get some pics and hopefully do a little fashion parade at the end for all you guys.

Till then!

Ok guys, to start with, here are the current full army shots (sans Unpainted models):

And a few games shots from the weekend and a time before that. I couldn\'t be bothered with a blow by blow coz ... well ... I can\'t remember. All I remember is the Black Widow blowing up first turn in 2 different games...

Well, I\'ve found a pic that should work well for my baneblade. I\'ll have a play around with it and see if I might be able to work it.

SWEET!
Do you think that you would go with the streampunk look or more modern steamlined. Thinking the walking tank from Ghost in the Shell. Not the Tachicomas but the one that goes rouge in order to see his parents. (I\'ll see if I can hunt down a image for you)

Seeing the smoke stacks on that thing reminded me of the big ass spider thing from wild wild west.

Justttttt a suggestion.....

Walking thunderhawk maybe?

Now that is going to be a killer baneblade looking forward to seeing this bad boy sprout up.

Heres the tank from ghost in the shell that was mentioned earlier.

Thank you Friar! My Google-fu is weak.

Have to say though looking at the two pictures I like the steampunk look more. Not sure on the smokestacks, but I could see a main gun housing simialer to the GitS tank. Closer to the hull.... OH oh! Maybe on a cariage/mount simialer to that of the \"peak-a-boo\" mounts in US Civil War habor guns. They would pop-up fire and the recoil would push them back down so the crew could reload. Again let me see if I can find you some pics.

Edit: Found it! Disappearing Guns, Fort Worden, Washington (state) 1915

drool, drool, slober, drool.

Man, this is really great stuff... I undestand what you mean about the rhinos. I\'ve been working on my guard army and I\'m about 200 infantry in... NO more guard ugh. Anyway, keep up the great work, it\'s always a joy to see you share your work and ideas.

wait, so let me get this, your building a guard army, with no tanks....

Got some kind of perverse fetish we dont know about?

Killing off poor guardsmen....

And I demand a big walky thing with guns! :D

Mind, doing the disappearing gun trick might not work to a daemons liking.

How about something like the daemon cannon carriages, having two big reservoirs full of blood/molten brass etc, and a huge gun nozzle on the end.

The ghost in the shell thing made me think of the scorpion, with the tanks at the back, and the cannon on top.

And making it large enough, having a heavy walker.

Possibly based on some of the daemon engine rules from bell of lost souls?

But a walker and not a train carriage.

wow .... your army is realy impressive and very unique.
i read your \"aboutme\" and found some interesting aspects that i think we share ...
.
you talked about being lazy and not willing to spend more time on painting than realy needed and therefore i think you were in a way forced to find an efficient and allthough very good looking scheme that fits to your stile.
i think you did a great job on the conversions AND the paintjob.
but finaly all that crativity in most of your minis, the wonderfull bases and the crazy vehicles make this army imho one of the best ever i\'ve seen.
i don\'t know where you come from, but the first thing i thought when reading this article was: WOW ... why isn\'t someone like this living close to erlangen/bavaria/germany ?! ... :)
the reason is, that almost all of my freinds sharing the hobby are either painters or players, but none of them\'s really inspiring me neither with the conversions they do, nore with the ideas they have, when talking about what could be realized and what not.
-
so please keep up the great work.
---
the concept of the six leged \"tank-vahicle\" is a realy good one and i would love to see that realized.
and i also think that a baneblade looking like this concept wpuld much better fit into an army like yours than the ordinary one.
...
