They may have been wiped out to a man but they successfully recovered all the suits. First founding Chapters are likely to have many extra suits stored in their armouries and as these are generaly the ones from which new Chapters are drawn they can supply them without depleting their own fighting strength. Also there don\'t tend to be the full hundred suits per Chapter. A handful of Marines are deployed as teminators and the rest form the Chapter veteran squads.
