Uh-huh, SURE Roger! lol

Talion, Congratulations!

My ONLY piece of advice: make sure you get something to eat. Have you and the new Mrs. Talion get a plate, sit down and eat. Mingle afterwards.

Trust me.

This is going to sound like a real wierd suggestion but I seen this problem enough at weddings that it will be appreciated. If you\'re going to have someone lighting candles in the service, make sure there\'s enough wick sticking up and put a touch of vaseline or oil on it so they will actually start. So many times I\'ve seen the person who\'s job it is to light the candles stand there for a very long time trying and trying while the crowd is growing impatient.

You\'ll be fine.

Good luck squire, and just remember the golden rule of getting married. Whatever that might be.

Oh aye, that\'s the golden rule - have enough to be merry drunk and let the Best Man do all the donkey work. Huzzah!

What a Day

Well it\'s the day after the day before.

A big worry over nothing...everything went as smooth as silk.

I have to admint when the our string quartet started playing the wedding march, my stomach turned and i thought i was gonna chuck, but when I turned around and saw her....it all went. Ceremony flew past.

As i said before the reception was mostly designed by me, doing the table plan, menus (in english and elvish), table names, guest names and table centres, I and table confetti (which took ages) couldn\'t wait to see it all put together with the flowers we had chosen, and it was everything I\'d imagined and more.

I had written my speech word for word on pieces of card ready, but ended up completley doing it off the cuff and it went down really well.

A fantastic venue and day.......

a few bonuses, from the day. The florist is using our wedding as marketing for there flowers, as is the venue, and my now wifes haridresser so that\'s all really cool.

I recommend designing your own wedding to anyone, it\'s a lot of work but when you see it all as you\'d imagined it\'s such a huge buzz.

Thanks guys for all your good words. It was a fantastic day, and I can remember every second.

I will post some pics when we get them.

Cheers guys

It is such an ego boost when that happens, huh?

Same thing happened to our wedding cake. The baker thought we were absolutely nuts when she got the order in. Had a rectangular cake done up like a picnic basket, then two small circle cakes on top. Said that they had to pay double rate because they called out a photographer at 3AM to take pictures for their catalog. I was picking it up at 6AM, so that they had to get it done ASAP.

Grats!
