My collection
includes quite a lot of non-military historical miniatures (Native Americans, Zulus, Samurai, Old West etc) in various scales from 54mm upwards. I discovered the milmod scene in the 80\'s when I got bored with painting orcs. Although I was never turned on by uniforms, a lot of ranges also include a few interesting fantasy figures as well as \'ancients\'. (Not a huge difference between a Celtic or Viking warrior and LOTR)
BTW, for those who didn\'t already know, the EuroMilitaire show in Folkestone next month is well worth a visit for fantasy figures fans. There\'s always some great miniatures tucked away amongst the Napoleonics - and the painting is amazing
