Ain\'t nothing wrong with women painters or gamers.
We have several girls in our local store and at least one of themis going to be giving Generulpoleaxe and I a serious bit of painting Competition.

As for the Smell in stores well, gamestores do have their problems, That\'s one of them.
Ah A Hot June in a GW store with Smelly boys, Glue and Plastic. :|~

I understand, your ball and chain is coming back and the free time is over. I\'m female, I paint, I go to GW stores and giggle inside as I could be the mother of most of the part time staff! :twisted::twisted:
I don\'t pay attention to kids, they despise you just because you are a girl (which is a sickness almost as bad as being a gay man if you beleive them - and I don\'t). As for the staff I get along very well with them, they are very friendly and happy to have another point of view of things (plus I have sometimes ideas that might come from my being dislexic more than from being a girl, and these are generally most welcome)

I am glad to hear so many of you appreciate having a girl around, and thank you for the warm welcomes to both boys and girls

There really is nothing wrong with 12- 16 year old boys, I\'m sorry if I made that impression. In groups of ten they can be a bit overwhelming though lol

When it comes to how I started to paint, I\'ve always liked mini everythings. I was already painting, and roleplaying at the time. I\'m sure my fiance (also, at the time) must have seen me druling over little skeletons when he approached me to ask if I wanted us to start painting (notice the \"us\"). Anyway, after a few jumping up and downs we got a warhammer game box, and we were offlol

As for pics... I think I\'ll give it some timelol Maybe you\'ll see me in person some time if I ever dear to go to one of the eventslol

I\'d advise some of the folks here looking for a taste of what the experience is like to take some of their better minis in. Sticky fingered kids all around you! Urgh. (Mind you this was years ago before the net boom and the general basic standard seems a lot higher since. Haven\'t been to a store in years.)

i actually really enjoy being a girl in the hobby.

usually I try and \"cover up\" when i go in to a Games Store just because of the helpful staff that makes the trip take 10x\'s longer.

but next time i go, i just got this awesome shirt i\'m going to try out and see what happens. :twisted:
