Hello girls (and boys)!

I must say I am supprised to see so many fellow girl painters, and happy too. Over here I just feel like a weirdo lol

Everytime I enter the local games workshop store, I find myself surrounded by 12- 16 year old boys, and VERY helpful stafflol

Help is nice by the way, even though I don\'t really need it.

Yes there are lots of female painters in the hobby now, Some of the worlds top painters are women. Plus if you got into the hobby because your Boyfriend or husband was in it, you will be out painting him skill wise in no time..it always happens that way.

A GW store smelling of anything other than rose petals i must be seeing things i would never of thought it possible. Its really a male self defence mechinism to keep pesky women away :D

You guys crack me up..no wonder the poor girl feels the way she does.. right away you guys are like eww girls.. girls smell funny..Um smelly primer.. LOL

You do have a point though... girls generally don\'t smell and I am fond of them on the whole :innocent:

I\'m a 14 year old myself, but you won\'t find me in my local GW store, ever. It really is quite unpleasant.

Usually the one who doesn\'t understand the pun (bad or not) is considered the fool ;)

And even then, blurting it out is un-gentleman like.

Welcome. The boys here are...well...men/boys/typically male, but sweeties none the less. Make them wait for a picture tho\'. Keeps them in line ;)

Watch out for Bengoodall\'s feet, uberdarks dark side and matty1001\'s sense of humor and visit the cafe\' du freak. You\'ll have to sit with me and the sherpas until you hit 1000 posts but yak butter isn\'t all that bad and I make them hose off at least once a week. Don\'t try to take any sherpas home tho\'. They explode.

Can\'t wait to see your stuff! (minis, boys. Geez! Get your minds out of the gutters!) Make sure you check out the articals. They are great!

Again, Welcome! Always good to see a new woman joining the ranks. Like you said, keeps the smell in check!

The last time I entered a Mini Store.... it was all guys and heads whipped around :eek: you would of thought Satan had entered the Holy of Holys :twisted:lol
