Been a while since I've looked in on this thread. Great stuff. Even more improvement than the first time I visited. Your faces are getting much more expressive and I think you are doing really great with the hair. I haven't been able to grasp how to add a mustache to a mini and you give them a nice full head of hair.

The only problem I see, and it may be a trick of the photos, but some of the putty could be smoothed a bit more. I'm just afraid once they were cast you wouldn't be as happy with the result. Nice smooth putty will give you a nice smooth cast.

Maybe the old brushing with a little acetone would take off the burrs. That last head looks really cool!

Another head sculpt practice. 1:56 scale.
This one is with a slightly different technique, it’s very rough as I’m still finding my footing but more true to scale. Maybe a little bit on the small side. Approximately 4mm tall.

Thank you. I just experiment with changing the face-ingredients slightly to one or the other direction. I suppose if it looks as if they have character or an expression that means I'm doing it right!
The armature is for a 1:56/28mm reporter in a sci fi setting for my infinity game figures- I have Merovingians and Alephs. The WarCors figure is only 3 points or so and has an AVA of 2 on most lists. They're irregular but they have a stun-pistol so why the hell not? Have 3 or 6 points left over? Add a couple of Journalists.

I really like the heads! And the planet faller guys, the techie guy and the Sarge in particular I thought were better then some of the stuff I have in my closet. I am always on the look out for well sculpted non-combatants

All those heads on spikes...people might get the wrong idea there, Vlad :tongue: My word, but they are tiny and so very well detailed though! Really glad to see you back at it
