Hate to paint

Yellow. It always ends up looking brown or unhighlighted. The thing that ticks me off the most about it is that it always seems one step away from looking just right and then...

I would have to say black, you have to be quite precise with it and also because its not as easy to tell where the paint is going, I never look forward to doing it. As for white that is difficult and very time consuming to get a smoooth result but after a bit of experimenting I dont mind using it, I just have to be patient.

Other...WHITE

I hate white. It always looks chalky or thin, can\'t seem to get the right balance there. Also, I never get the shading right on it (since you can\'t highlight).

Black! Black! Black! Black!

Bloody awful colour to highlight!

As to all you people with white problems with regard to thinning, add a little white ink to thin the paint rather than water, and you should keep the opacity.

To highlight black I useually add either turqoise or red depending on whether i want the black to be hot or cold, white and greys just dont work for me!

I read something the other day which said that the easiest way to achieve a good yellow is to paint a bone colour, highlight it then wash with yellow ink.

I tried it and it works really well, although after inking I was compelled to highlight a bit further by using a mix of the highlight colour and the yellow ink :)

Has to be Reds I hate having to try and blend the different shades as it never seems to come out right on matter what I try although I will admit that I have had more success with reds on a black undercoat.

White is a difficult colour for me as most of the time it turns out chalky. I used to have problems doing skintones, but gladly I got the hang of it and now actually like painting it.

Definitely hate painting white... how do you highlight white... you can\'t highlight white so you paint a light grey and then highlight it with white, but is it white then...

Aaaaaarrrghh...

Browns - they never come out the way I want them to. I love doing red, I love doing yellow, probably because they\'re some kind of challenge.
