Not really digging it. I don't think the paint job is helping much, especially on the cloak.
As has been said before "Chaos again!!" Nice to see a bit of imagination going into the Ltd Ed Gamesday mini.....Not. According to Solegends.com since 2000, of the 6 fantasy GD minis 3 have been chaos.

I'm sure I answered this thread but hey ho.....
I'm on the fence could see some nice variations appearing of it and it's a little different from the norm.
I just wish hey'd stop doing GD models that pretty much have the look of figures that weren't quite good enough to make the range but if "we bung em in silver wrapper and sell them limited they'll shift..."
last years marine felt like a sub standard sternguard or other marine.. This feels like a not quite matching the range sorceror.. The Dwarf slayer model was the first one that seemed like an effort was made to make something special for events and then they went back to the usual.... the white dwarf model and harry the hammer are the kind of sculpt the cost of the ticket deserves......

Seriously with so many talented sculptors in their ranks is this all they could come up with?
It does look as if parts of it have been cobbled together from other older figures, especially the gloved fist.

I kind of like it. I feel like I'd like it better if it was a bit less complicated. (No weird tentacles, book, ring or eye in the hand) seriously wtf is up with the eye in his hand?

...you know they're going to lose the whole eye-hand race.
(And as much as I suck at sculpting, that is one character that I MUST try to do one of these days. So, so cool/freaky.)

I find the paintjob on it very distracting. Really odd colour choices. Is that lower half a slug or a skirt? In either case, why is it the same colour as the glove & the horns? I'm sure the way the slug is painted would look good on an eldar army but why show off a special mini this way? They could've done one of those 'Eavy Metal team comps where they all have a go & there are pretty pictures in WD. Shame. B.
